The 22-year-old and some other climber each fell within the Moonlight Gully space of Ben Nevis within the Scottish Highlands on Saturday.
Police Scotland stated it used to be alerted to the emergency at about 5pm and mobilised Lochaber Mountain Rescue Crew (LMRT) and a helicopter from HM Coastguard Inverness.
