Former SAS: Who Dares Wins famous person Ant Middleton has been banned from being an organization director, after his corporate didn’t pay greater than £1m tax.
The Insolvency Provider stated Mr Middleton and his spouse, Emilie, “had been taking thousands and thousands of kilos out of” their corporate when it must had been paying the tax as a substitute.
The couple’s “media illustration services and products” corporate, Sway and Beginning, went into liquidation in 2022 owing £300,000 in VAT and £800,000 in company tax.
It had had £4.5m source of revenue within the earlier 3 years, “indicating it had sufficient source of revenue to pay the tax it owed in complete”, the Insolvency Provider stated. In the meantime, the couple had taken out a £3m administrators’ mortgage from the corporate.
‘Monetary tasks’
The couple, each 44, from Essex, had been disqualified as corporate administrators for 4 years. They have got now not commented.
Insolvency Provider investigation and enforcement services and products director Dave Magrath stated: “Ant and Emilie Middleton had felony and fiscal tasks as administrators to verify their corporate paid the company tax and VAT it owed.
“As an alternative, they had been taking thousands and thousands of kilos out of the corporate at the moment.
“This disqualification must function a deterrent to different administrators that if you don’t pay your taxes whilst directing cash in other places, you might be vulnerable to being banned.”

Mr Middleton had agreed a fee plan with the liquidator to pay £300,000 to settle the phenomenal administrators’ mortgage.
